We have been active in the tourism industry since 1991, when we started our hotel business as a family company. At that time, it was led by the former Deputy Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, successful businessman JUDr. Viliam Veteška, who in 1998 became the recipient of the Golden Entrepreneurial Biatec and was recognized as a Prominent Figure in the Economy of the Slovak Republic in 1998 and 1999
Thanks to our love for nature, the idea to build and operate cabins in the beautiful surroundings of the Great Fatra, in Liptovské Revúce, was born in 1999. Today, these cabins, known as WILI HUNTER chalets, are very popular and frequently visited by our guests.
With the original goal of creating the first holding company in the tourism sector, the cornerstone of the company was Hotel WILI in Púchov, which became Hotel of the Year in 2004. We hosted personalities from all over the world from the social, cultural, and sports sectors. We gained extensive catering experience both abroad and in Slovakia. Our hotel’s wellness center, the most modern in Slovakia at the time, was inaugurated by successful NHL players Pavol Demitra, Rastislav Pavlikovský, and Richard Zedník. For five years, we were home to the Slovak under-20 national hockey team.
Later, the holding expanded to include companies offering car rentals, guide services, trade, and also the WILI Travel travel agency, which not only managed bookings for our own hotel capacities but also organized stays for foreign guests in Slovakia (skiing trips, sports camps, children’s camps). We also had two international representations.
Another hotel in our network was Hotel WILI in Tatranská Lomnica (formerly Hotel Družba), which underwent extensive renovation in 2006 and was transformed into a beautiful apartment house. Today, 80% of the apartments are privately owned, and our company rents out the remaining 20% as WILI TATRY apartments
In the same year that we transferred Hotel WILI in Púchov to another company (2010), Villa WILI ROYAL in Belušské Slatiny became part of our holding company, a property we had previously been renting. The tennis court (now a multifunctional sports field) was originally inaugurated by Slovak Olympian Miloš Mečíř, along with other successful Slovak tennis players.
At the beginning of 2018, the company’s tourism activities (rental of WILI TATRY apartments and WILI HUNTER chalets) were transferred to the company WILI SLOVAKIA s.r.o. The activities of this company also include the rental of office spaces in a building in Púchov and property management services in Tatranská Lomnica. The headquarters of WILI SLOVAKIA s.r.o. is currently located in Púchov
