We recommend the new cycling path for beginners in Tatranská Kotlina and a more challenging route to the Štart cable car station if you’re staying in our WILI TATRY apartments.

If you’re staying in the WILI HUNTER chalets, definitely try the Cyklokorytnička with the kids, and for the more seasoned cyclists, there are many cycling trails throughout Liptov, including the Bikepark in Donovaly.

Vlkolínec is a living village that was declared a conservation area of folk architecture by the Slovak government in 1977, aiming to permanently protect the cultural values of this locality. As an intact settlement complex, it has a unique collection of houses that is unparalleled in Central Europe and was inscribed on the World Heritage List (the World Heritage Committee approved the inscription of Vlkolínec on December 11, 1993, in Cartagena, Colombia). The inscription confirms the exceptional and universal value of cultural or natural sites that require protection for the benefit of all humanity.

Vlkolínec is only a 15-minute drive from the WILI HUNTER chalets.

The Tatra National Park Museum in Tatranská Lomnica is one of the most visited museums in Slovakia. It introduces visitors to the Tatra nature and wildlife, explains their protection, and presents the history of our highest mountains. The exhibition is divided into sections on natural sciences, nature conservation, history, and ethnography.

Gino Paradise Bešeňová offers a wide range of outdoor and indoor pools, water attractions, restaurants, and a cozy wellness & spa center. The water in the aquapark comes from hot springs at a depth of 1,987 meters, with a temperature of 60.5°C.

The healing water helps with the musculoskeletal and respiratory systems, has beneficial cosmetic effects, and positively affects mental health due to the presence of lithium.

Tatralandia

Tatralandia Aquapark features 14 pools (of which 9 are open year-round) with salty, thermal, and clear water, reaching temperatures up to 36°C. Both children and adults can enjoy fun and relaxation in every season. Additionally, various attractions are available, such as Superfly, a fun park, and especially a wellness center or Celtic sauna world.

The water in Tatralandia has a beneficial effect on the musculoskeletal and respiratory systems due to its composition. In the seawater pools at Tropical Paradise, you can enjoy the healing effects of thalassotherapy (sea treatment) throughout the year in Liptov.

In the town of Donovalkovo, you’ll find 23 charming houses designed to fit perfectly into a child’s world.

This interactive area in Donovaly welcomes all children and offers a space for a day full of fun and creativity. In the town, you can find a cinema, a hospital, and a fairy tale house reminiscent of a gingerbread cottage. Little princesses can visit Snow White or Cinderella, where they can bake delicious pastries or enjoy a delightful cup of tea right in their homes.
